Connect 4 Rules
Drop your discs and connect four in a row! The fast-paced, classic game of strategy loved by kids and grown-ups alike.

What's in the Box?
- 1 Vertical grid (the blue stand-up rack with slots)
- 21 red discs
- 21 yellow discs
- 2 grid end pieces (to keep the discs from escaping!)
How to Set Up
- Assemble the grid and place it upright on a flat surface.
- Each player chooses a colour: one plays red, the other yellow.
- Decide who goes first - perhaps the person who last said 'Connect 4!'?
How to Play
- Players take turns dropping one of their coloured discs into any column.
- The disc will fall to the lowest available space in that column.
- The aim is to be the first to connect four of your own discs in a row-horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
- If the grid is full and no one has connected four, the game is a draw.
Tip: Watch out for sneaky diagonal wins - don't just block the straight lines!
Winning the Game
The winner is the first to shout 'Connect 4!'? after making a line of four. Bask in your victory and demand a rematch!
Fun Variations
- Best of Three: Play a series and keep score-first to three wins overall.
- Blind Drop: Close your eyes and drop a disc-pure chaos, maximum giggles.
- Big Board Challenge: If you have two sets, tape them together and play on a super-grid for epic matches!
Did you know? Connect 4 was first sold in the UK in the 1970s and still causes family arguments today!
